About Us
What We Do
The Southeast Community Development Forum is focused on empowering individuals and transforming communities across the region. Our work spans a wide range of critical areas including manpower development through skills training and capacity building; the establishment of a sustainable and community-driven security architecture; and the enhancement of healthcare services to ensure accessible, quality medical care. We prioritize educational advancement by improving school infrastructure, supporting teachers, and expanding learning opportunities.

Economic Empowerment
This program is designed to empower women to become financially independent and self-sufficient. We recognize that many women, particularly those in poor and vulnerable communities, face significant barriers to economic empowerment. Our program aims to address these barriers by providing training and education in key areas.
Through our program, we provide young women with training and education in ICT and Tech Skills. This will enable them to participate fully in the digital economy and access new opportunities for economic empowerment. We provide poor women and widows with training and resources to improve their agricultural skills, access markets, and enhance their food security.

Advocacy Reorientation
Reorientation is crucial for the success and the sustainability of the South East. We carry out campaigns and programs such as workshops, seminars, Radio, TV, Online campaigns, and Outdoor billboards and other forms of advocacy to promote understanding in the various communities. Through this reorientation program, we guide community members on how to safeguard critical infrastructures from vandals and criminals. Our reorientation programs foster a sense of responsibility and ownership among community members, ensuring the long-term success of the developmental projects in the region. Our goal is to empower local residents to take ownership of their region, protecting and preserving it for future generations.

Girls’ Education and Empowerment Program
Our Girls’ Education and Empowerment Program supports out-of-school girls and promotes girls’ education, addressing barriers such as early marriage, poverty, and cultural norms. With this program, we empower girls with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make informed decisions about their lives and to achieve their full potential. By providing educational resources and support, we can help girls to overcome the challenges they face and to build a brighter future for themselves. Our goal is to promote girls’ education and empowerment, and to support the development of a more equitable society.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS
Talent Identification and Development Program
Our program focuses on areas such as arts, sports, music, and innovation, science and tech, helping young people unlock their potential and also addresses the challenge of limited access to quality education and opportunities for young people in the South east region. With this program, we identify talent and support them. We provide training, mentorship, and resources to develop their skills. By supporting talented youths, we can empower them to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.

AGRICULTURAL PROGRAM
Sustainable Agriculture and Mechanized Farming
Our Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security Program supports poor women, men, and rural dwellers with training, resources, and technology to improve agricultural productivity, increase food security, and enhance livelihoods. We teach farmers modern ways of farming to increase yield, mechanized farming, market access, and also provide farming equipment to support mechanized farming.

Community Infrastructure Development Program
The Southeast Community Development forum as organization understands the vital role infrastructure plays in driving social and economic development. We encourage developments of world-class projects like Recreational Centers, Hotels, Malls, and Tourist Centers as well as promoting development of critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and community centers to make the region the envy of others.
