A Generation Cannot Wait: Empowering the Youth of the Southeast
The young people of Southeast Nigeria are intelligent, creative, hardworking, and full of ideas. Yet too many remain trapped in unemployment, unstable informal work, and opportunities that do not reflect their true potential.
This is not a failure of ambition. It is a failure to provide enough practical skills, mentorship, funding, technology, and pathways into meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.
Every talented young person left without opportunity represents an invention that may never be developed, a business that may never be created, and a community that may never experience the benefit of their potential.
The Southeast Community Development Forum believes that youth empowerment must move beyond promises. Our young people urgently need market-relevant training, digital and vocational skills, business mentorship, leadership development, and support to transform ideas into sustainable enterprises.
A prosperous Igbo land must be built by empowered young people.
Partner with us to replace hopelessness with skills, opportunity, enterprise, and lasting economic independence.
